Love the onion, but not to be a debbie downer, but in hindsight it’s pretty apparent the left was far to confident in trump’s farcical approach to politics to take him seriously in lieu of the fact that almost half the country did. The onion is by no means responsible for his election, but a symptom of a larger disregard to the seriousness of his candidacy that the left didn’t ever truly acknowledge.
